Meetmebythesea hated the heavy ground in the Game Spirit at Newbury and I think you can put a line through that, He was impressive in his two previous runs over fences and we have him in good order. Now, in novice company on decent ground, we have to be hopeful.

Meetmebythesea was smart over hurdles last season and like Mambonumberfive over at Warwick, he goes into this unbeaten over fences, Arkle favourite Lulamba won't be easy but if he beats the Henderson runner, the sky's the limit for him!

Meetmebythesea ended his novice hurdle year with an excellent 3rd in the big NH final at Sandown last March and did all we could have asked of him first time over fences at Wetherby. Olly Murphy's horse is showing similar promise but I think on balance we could have the beating of him.

Meetmebysea only narrowly failed to extend his winning sequence on his final run last season when a very close 3rd in the big NH novice final at Sandown in March. He's in great form at home and can hopefully win this on the way to bigger things.
