20-Jan-18   Lingfield Park   Bloodsweatandtears   Bloodsweatandtears isn’t really one to trust on the all weather but it will be interesting to see how he does up in trip today, which should give him a bit more time to get into the race. I can see him finishing 3rd or 4th maybe?   Was placed 4th at 33/1
grey line
20-Jan-18   Haydock Park   Lisdoonvarna Lad   We certainly think Lisdoonvarna Lad is a very nice horse and we will find out how nice today after his hurdles debut. It’s a hot race on very heavy ground but, like a few of mine today, I think he is overpriced and wouldn’t put anyone of a small eachway.   Was placed 3rd at 12/1
grey line
20-Jan-18   Taunton   Brianstorm   Brainstorm has run very well in defeat on both hurdle starts. Would be great to see him get his head in front this time and should have a very decent chance to do just that.   Won the race at 10/11
grey line
20-Jan-18   Taunton   Boite   A very pleasing run first time out this season. Has had a soft palate op since and is in great form at home. A competitive race, but should take some beating.   Won the race at 7/4
grey line
20-Jan-18   Haydock Park   First Flow   This tall angular gelding has done nothing wrong over hurdles so far. 2 out of 2. This is a big step up and we believe he should handle the ground and has the ability to win this.   Won the race at 9/4
grey line
20-Jan-18   Ascot   La Bague Au Roi   La Bague Au Roi continues to be in good form at home. Ground, track and trip should not be a problem. I certainly think she will continue her winning ways.   Won the race at 8/11
grey line
20-Jan-18   Ascot   Vinndication   This is a lovely horse who has done well so far. This is a big step up on quality of race and on form has one to beat. Ground is a worry but still should go close.   Won the race at 2/1
grey line
19-Jan-18   Chepstow   Jammin Masters   Ran well last time out. Step up in trip will suit and we are hopeful he will get his head in front today.   Won the race at 4/7
grey line
18-Jan-18   Wincanton   The Nipper   Was a little bit exuberant early on in her last race. Earplugs back in today should help keep her settled and hopefully she will finish off her race better and win again.   Won the race at 6/4
grey line
18-Jan-18   Wincanton   Savoy Court   Savoy Court has come on from his last race and should show up better today. The ground won't be an issue and hopefully he'll have an e/w chance.   Won the race at 14/1
grey line
17-Jan-18   Newbury   Saint Calvados   Saint Calvados has come out of his last race well, he's a course and distance winner who's only gone up 4lbs and he's the one they all have to beat today. He should run a big race.   Won the race at 5/4
grey line
17-Jan-18   Lingfield Park   Mr Andros   Mr Andros has been running well of late, today's trip is ideal and he shouldn't be too far away at all.   Won the race at 11/2
grey line
16-Jan-18   Kempton Park   Hold Hands   Hold Hands had her first run for over a year at Wolverhampton last time and will be sharper for that run. Today's track and trip will suit her and if she can recapture her best form she would have a good chance.   Was placed 2nd at 8/1
grey line
13-Jan-18   Lingfield Park   Lady Perignon   Lady Perignon will have a great chance today. She has running well of late, this is a drop in grade for her and I still think she's well handicapped. Jason's 7lbs claim will also help and I think he's a very good rider who's worth keeping an eye on.   Won the race at 2/1
grey line
10-Jan-18   Lingfield Park   Author's Dream   I think a lot of his improvement last time was down to the fact we rode him more positively and we will try and get a handy position again. The Joseph O'Brien horse looks the main danger but mine is in good form, he stays the 2 miles well and he should be there or thereabouts.   Won the race at 11/4
grey line
09-Jan-18   Taunton   Drewmain Legend   Drewmain Legend ran really well last time at Chepstow and proved she can handle the slower ground. She's been in good form at home since and I think she will go very well today.   Was placed 2nd at 9/1
grey line
08-Jan-18   Fontwell Park   Seaston Spirit   He has run well in his two bumpers, he's not the flashiest at home but just goes about his business. He has schooled well and hopefully he will bring that to the racecourse.   Won the race at 7/4
grey line
07-Jan-18   Plumpton   Vinnie Lewis   Vinnie Lewis won nicely last time but has been raised a stone by the handicapper. The trip and ground should really suit though and I am hopeful of a big run.   Won the race at 7/2
grey line
06-Jan-18   Sandown Park   Masterplan   This is a step up in grade for Masterplan, but he ran nicely the other day after coming back from a break. The ground is a slight unknown quantity, he has won on soft but this will be very testing. I think he will go nicely and if coping with the ground can run well here.   Was placed 2nd at 7/1
grey line
06-Jan-18   Chepstow   Another Venture   This lovely horse has been running well all season and this is an ideal race for him. I am expecting a very bold showing and should go close.   Won the race at 13/8
grey line
05-Jan-18   Southwell   Aiya   Aiya showed a little bit of improvement last time and on that form he should be competitive. There is a question mark over the surface but he should handle it and be there or thereabouts.   Won the race at 5/2
grey line
04-Jan-18   Wolverhampton   Papa Stour   Papa Stour was a bit disappointing last time and I hope it was just that he needed the run and that was exposed on a stiff track. The drop back a furlong won't be a problem, on what he shows at home he's well handicapped and he should go well today.   Won the race at 5/6
grey line
03-Jan-18   Ludlow   Jet Set   I think Jet Set is quite a big price, it's competitive but there's no stand out horse in the race and I can see her running well. She gets 7lbs off the boys, I think she'll be fine on the ground and I'm looking forward to seeing her run well.   Was placed 2nd at 14/1
grey line
02-Jan-18   Ayr   Idee De Garde   Idee De Garde is a lovely horse who goes well at home. It's hard to know what we are up against, but we do like him and are hoping for a good start with him.   Won the race at 2/1
grey line
30-Dec-17   Newbury   Mulcahys Hill   Mulcahys Hill won nicely first time over hurdles. A big step up today but will handle the ground better than some of the others. Deserves to take his chance and I do think he will run well.   Was placed 2nd at 16/1
grey line
30-Dec-17   Newbury   Poetic Rhythm   This is not his ideal ground but he should go in it. In good form and looks like he has a good chance here. He shouldn't be too far away when it counts.   Won the race at 15/8
grey line
30-Dec-17   Taunton   Attest   Attest has run two solid races in competitive company recently. Drop down in class today and with cheekpieces to help him he should be right there when it counts.   Won the race at 9/4
grey line
30-Dec-17   Newbury   First Flow   This angular gelding won well at Lingfield on his sole start over hurdles. Was it good form?? well the second horse has won since and on paper we have one to beat and that is Ascot hurdle winner Dell Oro so I hope we can beat that one.   Won the race at 6/5
grey line
30-Dec-17   Newbury   Saint Calvados   Saint Calvados is scopey, athletic horse who has some smart form in France. He is very much a chaser and he should have a good chance of getting off the mark over the bigger obstacles today.   Won the race at 7/4
grey line
28-Dec-17   Catterick Bridge   Paddling   Paddling has good course form over fences and ran very well last week in a better race. Our hand is forced and we are coming back a bit quick but he does have the best form in the race and should have a decent chance.   Won the race at 4/1
grey line
28-Dec-17   Catterick Bridge   Shalamzar   Shalamzar was very disappointing last time. Needs to travel and jump better in this lower grade. On flat form he is well handicapped.   Won the race at 12/1
grey line
27-Dec-17   Wetherby   Tickanrun   Tickanrun is going nicely at home and is fresh and well, but only a small each way chance at a price I feel.   Was placed 2nd at 6/1
grey line
27-Dec-17   Wetherby   Lisdoonvarna   You can draw a line through Lisdoonvarna‘s last run as it was a very difficult race for him 2nd time out. Back in grade today and he should be more competitive as long as the ground isn’t too much of a bog.   Won the race at 8/1
grey line
27-Dec-17   Leopardstown   Simply Ned   Simply Ned has run well in this race twice before, finishing placed both times. I am hoping we can do the same again today as I doubt we will be beating the Mullins horse, Min.   Won the race at 16/1
grey line
27-Dec-17   Wetherby   Just Cameron   Just Cameron ran below par last time at Newbury, but always gets better for his races. He will like the track and the ground will hold no worries for him today. Small each way chance.   Won the race at 10/1
grey line
26-Dec-17   Wincanton   Boite   I thought Boite ran well on the flat first time out this season. Is fit and well and always runs his race. Should be in the frame.   Was placed 2nd at 11/2
grey line
26-Dec-17   Wetherby   Inchcolm   Inchcolm is a very in and out performer! Was second in this race last year and on a going day can go well. It depends what mood he's in.   Was placed 2nd at 8/1
grey line
26-Dec-17   Huntingdon   Diamond Gait   Diamond Gait is a tough filly who won well at Warwick. The form of that race has not been franked by those who finished behind her which is a worry. Tongue tie on for the first time might help but she will need to run very well and to be placed.   Was placed 2nd at 8/1
grey line
26-Dec-17   Wetherby   Only Orsenfoolsies   Only Orsenfoolsies loves the track and ground and any further rain will help his chances. A reproduction of his last run gives him a big shout and he is one of our better chances today.   Won the race at 13/2
grey line
26-Dec-17   Wetherby   Petticoat Tails   Petticoat Tails needed the run last time on very testing ground. Has come on for that and we should see her back to her old form now and this looks a very winnable race for us!   Won the race at 13/8
