grey line
23-May-17   Huntingdon   Benefit Of Luck   I'm hoping for another improved display from Benefit of luck. The step up in trip, coupled with the move into handicap company should suit him. He should be in the frame if he settles, which he's struggled to do in the past.   Was placed 3rd at 16/1
grey line
23-May-17   Nottingham   Barizan   Barizan stayed on really well over 1 mile 4 furlongs last time, 2 miles will suit and if running to the same the level of form at Newbury last year would have a little chance.   Was placed 3rd at 20/1
grey line
23-May-17   Huntingdon   Hepijeu   Hepijeu was a bit gassy after a break last time and that's why he didn't get the trip. That run would have brought him on and he should have a good chance today. He's on a good mark, conditions will suit and I'd like to think he can go very close.   Won the race at 2/1
grey line
23-May-17   Newcastle   Omran   Omran is in very good form, trip and surface will suit and he has a very good chance to take this.   Won the race at 4/5
grey line
23-May-17   Brighton   Holdenhurst   Holdenhurst ran as expected on debut, he's come on nicely for that and I'm hoping he will be in the first three today. He'll step forward and have a solid e/w chance.   Won the race at 14/1
grey line
23-May-17   Hexham   The Pine Martin   The Pine Martin is new to the stable, has settled in well and on the best on his Irish form will have a chance.   Won the race at 7/2
grey line
21-May-17   Stratford   Mighty Leader   In really good form at home and back up to a perfect trip for him. He has won on all grounds so hopefully that won't be a factor and he can get at least a place today.   Won the race at 17/2
grey line
21-May-17   Market Rasen   Always Lion   Always Lion has had a lot of time off with an injury but he's very well now, in great form and has always wanted a fence. He's been schooling very nicely and he's got a good chance here.   Won the race at 7/4
grey line
21-May-17   Stratford   Mulcahys Hill   Mulcahys Hill is in really good form. The softer the ground the better for him and he should hopefully put his experience to good use.   Won the race at 11/10
grey line
19-May-17   Aintree   Iora Glas   Iora Glas is a bit higher in the weights today and this race is more competitive than Cheltenham but he is still in cracking form and worthy of a place in this line up. I think he can run very well.   Was placed 3rd at 8/1
grey line
18-May-17   Salisbury   Scorching Heat   Scorching Heat would have a great chance, he'll love the ground, the track and trip should be just about perfect for him and he's very fit. He holds a nice chance today.   Won the race at 5/2
grey line
18-May-17   York   Here Comes When   Here Comes When will love the ground, he seems in fine form, he runs well fresh and he's got a very good e/w chance.   Won the race at 10/1
grey line
17-May-17   Perth   Creevytennant   Creevytennant ran a blinder to come second to a horse that went on to win at the Cheltenham hunterchase evening. He's fit and well and should win today!!   Won the race at 1/1
grey line
16-May-17   Chepstow   Sir Pass I Am   Sir Pass I Am was disappointing last time but I think that was more down to the all weather and I think he'll have a cracking chance tonight. Leaving the hood off will help him as too will the step up in trip and I'm hopeful he'll finish in the places at the very least. (9/1 WHEN POSTED)   Won the race at 3/1
grey line
16-May-17   Warwick   Rhaegar   This lovely horse needs genuinely good ground. I took him out of 3 of his intended races last week because of the fast ground. I hope he can run today and if he does he will run well and should be placed. A true chaser in the making and he's a nice type.   Won the race at 6/4
grey line
15-May-17   Kempton Park   Salto Chisco   I was really happy with Salto Chisco's return to hurdles last time, he travelled well before not seeing out the trip. The drop back in trip should suit him, along with the drop in class. He should have a good ew chance.   Won the race at 5/1
grey line
14-May-17   Plumpton   Royals And Rebels   Royals And Rebels has won over course and distance and is in good form on the gallops. I would have liked to see a bit more rain but even so, I still think we only have one to beat, Flugzeug. We should have a decent chance here.   Won the race at 13/8
grey line
13-May-17   Nottingham   Mister Blue Sky   Mister Blue Sky has got a good chance if he runs up to his form. The way these 3yo handicaps are going it's harder than ever, they're always competitive at this time of the year, but they seem even harder this time around for some reason. He's come on for his last run, is in good shape at home and should be able to go well.   Won the race at 7/2
grey line
13-May-17   Hexham   Waterclock   All three of mine today will have little bits and pieces of place chances. Waterclock is in good order, will enjoy conditions and can finish in the places.   Won the race at 13/2
grey line
12-May-17   Chester   Duretto   If there's any showers between now and racing then that would suit Duretto perfectly, even just a drop would do. He's a high class horse who can go well and will have a very good chance of finishing in the first three with that drop of rain.   Was placed 3rd at 15/2
grey line
12-May-17   Chester   Max Zorin   On paper Max Zorin has a lot to do and I can't see him beating Aidan's horse, but I can see him being good enough to finish in the first three. His Feilden Stakes fourth stacks up pretty well with the others and he's come on since then also. Highly unlikely to beat the favourite, but I'd give him a chance with the rest of the field.   Was placed 3rd at 25/1
grey line
12-May-17   Chester   St Mary'S   St Mary'S would have an e/w chance. She's got a tricky draw which for Apprentices isn't easy around here. She's fit and ready for this so will have an e/w chance.   Won the race at 14/1
grey line
12-May-17   Market Rasen   Pickamix   Pickamix is in good form and should go well. It's his first time in a handicap and the first time over this extended trip, however I feel he's well handicapped and the trip will suit. I expect him to go well and feel he's got the favourite to beat.   Won the race at 5/1
grey line
10-May-17   Chelmsford City   Zumurudee   1m 2f is his trip, he ran well on the track first time out and although it looks a competitive race we think he holds a good e/w chance. We've always thought a lot of him and hope tonight he can show everyone why we like him so much.   Was placed 2nd at 5/1
grey line
10-May-17   Chelmsford City   Drochaid   Drochaid will have a great chance, I like him and he's well in at the weights with most of these. He's shown he handles the track, the extra 2 furlongs won't be a problem and he should be right there when it counts.   Won the race at 5/1
grey line
10-May-17   Chester   Russian Soul   Russian Soul is 11lbs lower on turf and I'm hoping that is just circumstances and I hope that he isn't actually an 11lbs inferior horse on the turf. There's a good chance that he isn't in which case he's a well handicapped horse. He's a wily old thing so we thought somewhere like Chester might suit him, he's going to need his fair share of luck because he'll have to come from behind, but it's not impossible he can run well here.   Won the race at 14/1
grey line
09-May-17   Ffos Las   Mon Palois   This lovely horse won his bumper on soft ground at Wetherby and failed to carry his penalty at Southwell although he still ran well. He has won an Irish point to point and looks the type to do well over hurdles. He should go close.   Won the race at 4/1
grey line
07-May-17   Newmarket   Horseplay   Horseplay is a very decent animal and my only slight worry is the ground as she won her maiden on soft. She didn't run too badly on Good to firm at Ascot first time out so it may not be a problem. If she is ok on it today, she will take all the beating.   Won the race at 11/2
grey line
06-May-17   Goodwood   Make Music   Make Music is well drawn, she is in good form and would certainly have an e/w chance here. Conditions will be fine and she could be a spot of e/w value.   Was placed 2nd at 16/1
grey line
05-May-17   Cheltenham   Are They Your Own   Are They Your Own was going to win by 10l when he fell at the last at Fakenham last time out. He's fine after that fall, in great form and should take a lot of beating.   Won the race at 7/4
grey line
05-May-17   Lingfield Park   Arab Moon   Arab Moon is still a bit green and won it the hard way out from the back at Kempton the other day. He should have learnt a lot from that and I think he's improved for the run. The step up in trip will suit, he's in cracking form at home and he's the one they all have to beat.   Won the race at 2/1
grey line
04-May-17   Towcester   You're A Lady   You're A Lady ran well for a long way last time but was very green. Stronger handling from David Bass might well help. She heads to the Goffs sales in 3 weeks time so she needs to run well. Place chances.   Was placed 2nd at 18/1
grey line
02-May-17   Yarmouth   Indian Dandy   He is in great form and this looked to be the right race for him, track and trip will suit I feel he can win a race like this. He is a sensitive chap, so we need him to be settled in the pre-race proceedings and as long as he keeps his cool I should think he will run a big race here.   Won the race at 16/1
grey line
01-May-17   Windsor   Secret Art   Secret Art hated the ground at Newmarket the other day and just didn't let himself down on it. Hopefully the rain arrives here and if it does he will run well. He's in good form and with conditions in his favour he'll have a good e/w chance.   Won the race at 9/1
grey line
01-May-17   Kempton Park   American Gigolo   We've kept him back to keep his novice status for this season. He's in very good form and I'll be disappointed if he doesn't win this. He's not much of a price, but that reflects the chance he has.   Won the race at 8/11
grey line
29-Apr-17   Doncaster   Jellmood   Our first 2 year old runner so very much will be a marker of where we are with all the other 2 year olds. He has always shown me some nice speed and ability and we will see once he has been pitched against the other 2 year olds. I wouldn't be surprised to see him run a good debut and sneak a place.   Was placed 3rd at 12/1
grey line
29-Apr-17   Haydock Park   Kyllachy Gala   He has come back from Meydan well and has trained well since coming back. He has George Wood on claiming the 5 which will be a great help for him. The handicapper has the measure of him and he has a good deal to do to get a win at this level, with this current handicap mark. Having said that track and trip are ideal for him, but I still feel that he has place claims at the very best.   Was placed 3rd at 20/1
grey line
27-Apr-17   Perth   Mystifiable   Mystifiable has had a wind op and a break since his last run. He is in great form at home and showing his old spark so we hope he runs a big race.   Won the race at 7/2
grey line
26-Apr-17   Epsom Downs   Brorocco   Brorocco needed his run back last time, he shaped alright in a muddling affair and has come on for that. If he settle's and handles the track then he will go very close. He's a well handicapped horse, but he will need things to drop right for him, especially here at Epsom.   Won the race at 7/1
grey line
24-Apr-17   Warwick   Boy In A Bentley   This looks competitive. Boy In A Bentley traveled like the winner last time but hit the front too soon. Hopefully today David can hang on to him longer and if so he has every chance of being placed.   Was placed 3rd at 8/1
