24-Mar-17   Lingfield Park   Bloodsweatandtears   Bloodsweatandtears has never won on the AW but is normally there or thereabouts. He's in good form and I can see him running well, I'm hopeful of a place but he could well find one or two too good as he tends to do on the AW.   Was placed 3rd at 11/1
grey line
24-Mar-17   Dundalk   Elbereth   Elbereth should have every chance tonight. She's got a bit to find with Fire Fighting but she's in good form and she should run very well.   Won the race at 11/2
grey line
22-Mar-17   Newcastle   Unabated   Unabated is a nice horse, last year he ran in a couple of group races and didn't disgrace himself. It looks like it's a tricky race, but he's working well and would have an e/w chance.   Won the race at 12/1
grey line
21-Mar-17   Exeter   Boy In A Bentley   Hugely disappointing horse who has stacks of ability. Certainly more than capable of winning this on his best form. Should go well at a long price.   Was placed 2nd at 9/1
grey line
21-Mar-17   Wetherby   Caius Marcius   Caius Marcius has been running alright without hitting the bullseye but this better ground will certainly help him out. He's in grand order at home and he ought to be very competitive.   Won the race at 5/1
grey line
18-Mar-17   Uttoxeter   Warrantor   Warrantor couldn't really get into the race at Haydock last time but these conditions will suit him better. He's not without an e/w chance.   Was placed 3rd at 16/1
grey line
18-Mar-17   Fontwell Park   Fight Commander   Fight Commander is a horse with ability, he had a consistent season as a novice over fences and was handicapped to the hilt as a result. He disappointed in his first two runs this season but was found to be dislocating his soft palate, he had an operation before his most recent run to correct this. He didn't seem to try too hard on his first race after that procedure, which can happen, they sometimes need a run to realize that they can breathe properly again. Fight Commander has done really well since his last race and looks an absolute picture so hopefully he has gained some confidence from that. He is wearing first time blinkers and is back down to a sensible handicap mark.   Was placed 2nd at 11/2
grey line
18-Mar-17   Newcastle   Reivers Lad   Reivers Lad is a lovely horse and all being well today he will take a lot of beating. He's no price at all, but barring any mishaps he should be able to win.   Won the race at 4/9
grey line
18-Mar-17   Uttoxeter   Portrush Ted   Portrush Ted is a nice horse who shouldn't mind the conditions. Hopefully he can run well first time.   Won the race at 11/4
grey line
18-Mar-17   Fontwell Park   Magic Money   Magic Money ran well last time and hopefully can now build on that. This looks a tough race but she could run into the money.   Won the race at 11/1
grey line
18-Mar-17   Uttoxeter   Chase The Spud   Chase the Spud was a good second behind Mysteree at Haydock so if he found that form he could run really well. He runs better in smaller fields which is a slight worry but he will handle the soft ground no problem.   Won the race at 11/1
grey line
16-Mar-17   Cheltenham   Barney Dwan   Barney Dwan is a tough and gutsy horse who has been unlucky this season. He was running a brilliant race at Warwick when he unseated at the last but would have beat or been very close to one of the fancied horses in today's race (Tobefair). We are now carrying level weights instead of carrying nearly a stone more than him!!! At 20/1 he looks over priced.   Was placed 2nd at 16/1
grey line
14-Mar-17   Cheltenham   Missed Approach   If he runs up to his best form he would have a very good e/w chance, lets hope with first time cheek pieces on he can do himself justice.   Was placed 2nd at 50/1
grey line
14-Mar-17   Sedgefield   Cockley Beck   I was disappointed with her at Wetherby but I'm quite sure she will step up a fair bit on that performance. She was very green on debut, a lot greener than I thought she would be but I'm sure we will see a different horse today. AT 12/1 she looks a very big price to me.   Won the race at 6/1
grey line
13-Mar-17   Chelmsford City   Indian Dandy   A small but competitive looking field, track and trip will suit. He can get very uptight in the pre-race build up so we need to manage this to keep him calm and relaxed. Daniel knows him well and we would hope to win a race like this.   Won the race at 7/4
grey line
11-Mar-17   Sandown Park   Cap Soleil   Cap Soleil is in great form and is unbeaten in her 2 Bumpers to date. She has a penalty today and the ground isn't as soft as when she won her previous races but we hope for another solid run.   Won the race at 9/2
grey line
11-Mar-17   Ayr   Silver Tassie   Silver Tassie was 2nd in this race last year and we feel he has equally as good a chance again today.   Won the race at 8/1
grey line
11-Mar-17   Sandown Park   Morning Reggie   He has been a frustrating horse, he has a huge amount of ability, works and schools well but it all seems to be what sort of mood he is in. He's wearing blinkers and I'm hopeful of a good run.   Won the race at 5/1
grey line
09-Mar-17   Wincanton   Le Drapeau   Le Drapeau ran OK first time out at Exeter, it's difficult to work out bumper form at times. I think he is better than he showed that day but I'm not certain he will handle the ground today. He's not a big weak horse so with only a few runners it's worth taking a chance that he will cope with conditions. Drapeau is a sweet horse to do anything with, he's straightforward and uncomplicated. He's an out and galloper and good to ride at home.   Was placed 3rd at 14/1
grey line
09-Mar-17   Southwell   He's A Lad   I think He's A Lad has got a sound chance, it's always difficult to guess how the once ran maiden's will improve but I think ours will go very well. The outside draw and extra furlong will suit him and I think he'll be there or thereabouts.   Won the race at 5/4
grey line
09-Mar-17   Southwell   Dungannon   Dungannon is a grand horse, should run his race and would be a spot of e/w value. He was a bit unlucky last time, he wasn't drawn the best and if things fall his way today then he will grab a place and with a bit more luck he could go one better.   Won the race at 7/2
grey line
08-Mar-17   Lingfield Park   Make Music   Make Music ran very well last time, is dropping back in trip today but she has a lot of speed, like's the track and she should have every chance. She has a good draw which can only help and she ought to be right there when it counts.   Won the race at 11/4
grey line
08-Mar-17   Catterick Bridge   Becky The Thatcher   Becky The Thatcher is in good form at home. She has form with the two other fancied fillies in the race, but we now meet them on better terms. She should be thereabouts.   Won the race at 6/1
grey line
07-Mar-17   Newcastle   Knocknamona   We feel if he copes with the ground, then he has a big chance of winning. It looks like a dire race with just the favorite to beat and we're hopeful he will run a big race.   Won the race at 11/8
grey line
04-Mar-17   Doncaster   Thumb Stone Blues   Thumb Stone Blues doesn't have an easy task with a penalty for his win at Sedgefield. Is he good enough?? I think so.   Won the race at 13/8
grey line
03-Mar-17   Doncaster   Blue Hussar   He disappointed on bad ground at Market Rasen. We expect much better and a bolder show today and if he is to make his mark over hurdles he needs to be in the money. Should have an e/w chance.   Was placed 2nd at 11/1
grey line
03-Mar-17   Newbury   Wishicould   Wishicould will love the ground, stays forever and she would have a good e/w chance. She's been in good form at home since her last run and she can go well at a big price.   Won the race at 16/1
grey line
01-Mar-17   Ffos Las   Dueling Banjos   We were due to run this horse yesterday but the ground changed to nearly heavy so we took him out to run today. The reason we took him out is because we could not possibly beat yesterday's favourite on that ground while we might have on better ground. Dueling Banjos should handle this ground and opposition and really should win.   Won the race at 8/13
grey line
27-Feb-17   Ayr   Chidswell   Chidswell had a lovely pop around Segdefield, that would have done him the world of good and he should be able to build on that. He'll love the ground, track and trip and is the one to beat in this.   Won the race at 6/4
grey line
27-Feb-17   Wolverhampton   Atkinson Grimshaw   Atkinson Grimshaw has been working with Native Prospect who won at Southwell last week which means he is working around the 75 mark which I hope would be good enough to win this.   Won the race at 5/4
grey line
25-Feb-17   Lingfield Park   Verne Castle   This is a big step up in grade for Verne Castle but he's well drawn, got useful course form and I'm hoping that will stand him in good stead. It's hard to see him winning this, but he could certainly nick a place.   Was placed 3rd at 12/1
grey line
25-Feb-17   Newcastle   Caraline   Caraline will enjoy the ground and likes the track. She is going well at home, is off a competitive mark and can go well today.   Was placed 2nd at 10/1
grey line
25-Feb-17   Newcastle   Knockanrawley   This big imposing grey has been aimed at this race all season. A good run back at Warwick where he finished fourth. He was fourth in this race two years ago and again has good place chances.   Was placed 2nd at 8/1
grey line
25-Feb-17   Newcastle   The Nipper   The Nipper should be very hard to beat in a race that has no depth. Her odds on price reflects her chance.   Won the race at 4/9
grey line
24-Feb-17   Warwick   Diva Reconce   This French bred filly has been pleasing us at home and if she handles the ground she will run well and go very close. I like her a lot.   Won the race at 11/4
grey line
24-Feb-17   Lingfield Park   Casablanca   Casablanca should have every chance, she's got a pretty consistent level of form and has been unlucky not to have won a race by now. I couldn't question her attitude so I'd hope she can finally get her head in front today.   Won the race at 2/1
grey line
23-Feb-17   Wolverhampton   Retrieve   I am aware that Marco fancies his in this race but I don't think he will beat mine. Retrieve needed his first run back and will be far better suited to this surface than sand so I think we will turn the form around with Regarde Moi and win this!   Won the race at 6/4
grey line
22-Feb-17   Ludlow   Milord   Milord has dropped in the weights and probably has the best chance for a long time today. He needs to jump off very handy but if he misses the break he will struggle. If jumping off well he'll have good place claims at a big price.   Was placed 3rd at 10/1
grey line
22-Feb-17   Doncaster   Killala Quay   Killala Quay is very well handicapped now and he has had a few issue's which explains the 3 P's by his name. He seems in order good now though and I hope to see a different horse today. Decent chance!   Won the race at 5/1
grey line
21-Feb-17   Wetherby   Thedrinkymeister   This ground will probably be too good for him but he now sports a visor which might help. If you can forget his last run then he'd have place chances.   Won the race at 8/1
grey line
