18-May-12   Time Up York 3.20

Unplaced

A progressive stayer has won a Listed contest at York and subsequently run well in group company. He travelled supremelly well when beating Chiberta King over 2m he has plenty for a stayer.

18-May-12   Heavy Metal Newmarket 3.20

Won 13/8

This well made 2yo needed his first run behind My boy Bill in the Brocklesby.Won in a good time at Brighton and the second Lady Phill has won since. The step up 6f should be a big help.

18-May-12   Boogie Shoes Newmarket 5.05

2nd !3/2

Made a good impression when winning at Salisbury then a decent sixthe in a Glorious Goodwood handicap. When last seen he won over C&D and return on a 3Lb higher mark is open to improvment.

grey line
10-May-12   Call To Battle - 2.35 Chester

Unplaced

Significant that John Oxx has sent the colt over for this Derby trial. Already had a victory over David Livingston and can repeat it again today over this longer trip.

grey line
10-May-12   Absinthe - Chester 1.35

WON at 100/30

Ran consistently for Walter Swinburn last year, should like the ground and has a serious chance in a relatively weak Chester handicap.

grey line
10-May-12   Stand To Reason - 4.45 Chester

2nd at 6/4

Is 8lbs higher for his victory at Newbury on soft ground, looks a progressive type and this does not look the most competitive of handicaps and can follow up.
